T-Handle Heat Treated Hook

The Dual Grip Popper is a T-handle hook design that
integrates the high strength of a heat treated hex shaft
with the comfort of a two-handed grip.

The T-Handle allows a user to place both hands securely
on the hook when removing heavy covers. The weight is
transferred to both hands, allowing for a better, more
natural pulling posture.

The 5/8” hex shaft is heat treated, creating a durable, long
lasting tool that won’t bend easily. The working end is designed
to fit in a wide variety of openings. (See the Top Popper for

How It Works

The Chisel Popper is designed to be the first step in removing a stubborn cover.

  1. Insert the chisel end between the cover and frame.
  2. Pry to break the seal and create an opening.
  3. Insert a manhole hook or lifting hook.
  4. Safely lift and remove the cover.
