What is a Filter Hook? 

A manual hook tool designed for reaching down septic risers to hook and remove filters and other objects. This high strength steel alloy resists bending under load, and the one‑piece design keeps it simple and reliable.

How It Works

The Chisel Popper is designed to be the first step in removing a stubborn cover.

  1. Insert the chisel end between the cover and frame.
  2. Pry to break the seal and create an opening.
  3. Insert a manhole hook or lifting hook.
  4. Safely lift and remove the cover.
