IMPORTANT: The following lengths include a 6" high-strength isolator. Therefore the 48" Mighty Probe(tm) Lite allows you to probe 42" deep (48" overall - 6" isolator = 42" rod).

NOTE: This probe is intended for loose soil (e.g. beaches) or marshy areas. The rod can be compared to a CB antenna in strength and flexibility.

Insulated Metal Soil Probe
Designed for sand, loose, or wet soil, the Mighty Probe(tm) Lite is a light duty insulated soil probe. The Mighty Probe(tm) Lite retains the same electrical protection of the Mighty Probe(tm) while featuring a thin lightweight stainless steel shaft which won't rust and resists bends. For heavy duty use, purchase a Mighty Probe(tm).

The Mighty Probe(tm) Lite is to be used for secondary protection and is not intended to replace the user's personal protective equipment.

The Mighty Probe(tm) Lite provides increased protection against electrical shock resulting from incidental contact with energized lines. As with all quality tools, it should be used correctly and under proper conditions.

The Mighty Probe(tm) Lite has been tested to 50,000 volts by an independent testing laboratory following ASTM F711-89 testing procedures. Additionally, it has been tested by the commercial laboratory services of a major utility company. (Both dry and 48hr. water soak to 45,000 volts.)
